Tout au long de l'année 2021, Ray Borneo a produit des "modules" : de petites pièces de musique électronique accompagnées chacune d'une video mirage - ou inversement, des videos mirages accompagnées chacune d'une petite pièce de musique électronique.
Tous ces MODULES (#) sont maintenant réunis dans un DigiFile sur CD & une disquette 3.5'' ... eh oui !
Et pour faire rentrer ces modules sur une disquette 3.5'', il a d’abord fallu n’en choisir que 8 et drastiquement réduire la taille des fichiers. Au total, 8 morceaux sur disquette. Cette étape qui aurait pu être simplement technique mais elle est devenue savoureuse : manipuler les fréquences, choisir quelle partie du son tordre et détériorer les morceaux pour obtenir du 8 bits / 8 Khz - du véritable Lo-Fi numérique quoi !
La version CD, c'est le son des années 2000
La version disquette, c'est le son des années 80 !
Throughout the year 2021, Ray Borneo has produced "modules": small pieces of electronic music each accompanied by a mirage video - or conversely, mirage videos each accompanied by a small piece of electronic music.
All these MODULES (#) are now gathered in a DigiFile on CDr & a 3.5'' floppy disk ... yes!
And to fit these modules onto a 3.5 '' floppy disk, we first had to choose only 8 and drastically reduce the file size. Total : 8 songs on floppy disk. This step could have been simply technical but it has become really tasty : manipulate frequencies, choose which part of the sound to twist and deteriorate the pieces to obtain 8 bits / 8 Khz - real digital Lo-Fi !
The CD version is the sound of the 2000s
The floppy version is the sound of the 80s!
